What are the Best Gift Ideas?

The holidays are almost here. The relatives are coming! Christmas is 77 days away to be exact.

How about homemade gifts? The receiver feels your heart, soul, and time. You better get started now!

I hate to admit it, but this is where my creativity hibernates. I stress out on Etsy, DIY, Martha Stewart, and crafty sites.

But I do adore photographs and the written word 😌

If you are like me, these gifts are given as a time capsule to be cherished forever ❤️

Photos – My personal favorite

Locket – Photo engraved, so not trying to fit scrappy, paper pic inside 😂

Album – Fill it with photo moments, inside jokes, inspirational sayings, and a handwritten letter

Framed photo – Special moment frozen in time, with a letter tucked with or behind the picture

Special to them – Favorite pet or special place captured in canvas

Home decor – Photo blankets, pillows, mugs …

Photo calendar – Flip through the months and relive the memories

Journal – Between the two of you

Special between grandparent and child, parent and child, friends, spouses, and dear ones.

Track memories, reasons grateful for them, or let it serve as a love letter passed back and forth between the two of you.

Handwritten Letters never go out of style

Mail the letter

Frame an old letter

So those are some gift ideas, OR you too can find your creative genius!

What do you like to create? Look online for inspiration. You can make a gift that is affordable, eco friendly, and the feels last forever.

When in doubt, make and bake EDIBLES, especially their favorite foods or special recipes.

And if you don’t have the time or can’t take the pressure, CREATE TOGETHER! Make personal pan pizzas, ice cream sundaes, paint pottery, art projects? It can be fun to exchange what you each make. Above all, you just created a new memory for you both to laugh about.

And isn’t that the best gift? The gift of ourselves? It’s our time and our love that is given during the holidays and every day of the year ❤️
