Are You a Good Mom or a Bad Mom?

Calling all moms! Can you relate to the madness?

You’re a Bad Mom If…

My kids are older now. I remember well the pressures to be a “good mom” and what to do and not do. Most I placed on myself, often triggered by outside sources 🥲

It’s not about what you “should do.” It’s more like what comes natural between you and your individual child. Each child is unique and needs different things from you at different times.

Right?

No matter what you try to accomplish as a parent or do right by your child, you can never be sure how it will work out.

So what did I learn?

I learned that kids will survive, and even thrive, no matter what. I learned that  they become who they’re meant to be, and often quite different than their siblings. Breathe.

Be gentle with yourself and your kids and your partner and other moms. Good moms love their children. It’s that simple and complex.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you moms, grandmas, and special aunts!

This is also for all the nurturing spirits who care for and love their friends and pets and plants and more! God bless you 🌸🌺
