Dreams? What are yours? They can be so different for each of us, but yet so much the same.
This month, Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa achieved a new dream! They’re grandparents of a little girl, Lily Harper.
This is a perfect example of how dreams will change as the landscape of our lives change. Dreams are like butterflies. They captivate us, can be so fleeting, yet direct our paths.
Dreams are goals that breathe air into our souls. If we let them, they guide our life choices. We need to be free to chase and grasp them.
Dreams are hope, as we live life year after year. It can be a job, a career, a person, a place. No matter what happens, the passage of time will be kinder and gentler. Dreams keep us hopeful, thus joyful.
That’s why we should never block or feel guilty for dreaming. It can be stealing 15 minutes in a day or a fulltime job. I believe this gentleness with ourselves manifests into kindness to others.
Most dreams take work and time. Sometimes serendipity strikes, and dreams come true almost magically. Either way, God puts the dream in our souls, and moves us in the right direction.
Dreams, like butterflies, transform. Listen to your dreams and see where you land.
