Spring Breakers

Oh, I remember well looking forward to spring break. Finding our new latitude. Midwest ice storms never stopped us.

It was about changing the scenery and spending quality time together as a family. Looking back, traveling with our kids was possible because we were conscious of our spending before we went away.

Thoughtful planning can save your family a lot of money.

Travel off season while you can (before school-age children)

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere.  It’s also off-season somewhere.

Avoid overpaying for necessities at your destination – jackets and suntan  lotion are big ones

Happier pets

So many wonderful places nearby – get creative
